Hey there everyone,

My name is Erik Johnson. I am the owner of The Race Line. I have been working with the GTM community for quite sometime over the years with regard to gearing options for their Porsche / Audi gearboxes as well as clutches and Limited Slip Differentials. Recently I decided to expand my business to other manufacturers and Subaru is one of them.

I have extensive experience with the Subaru cars, having once been a top sales person for Subaru, as well as rally'd against them in a EVO 7. The gearboxes are a bit of a weakness, and there are certainly options that I can help with to help with this.

The Race Line is one of the biggest wholesalers of OS Giken Limited Slip Differentials and Clutches, we also work with a great many companies to resolve issues that seem like people here are now facing with regard to their builds. I would certainly like to get a better feel for what everyone is looking for in changing the current setup and see what I can do to help.

I have long been a factory five fan, and have greatly enjoyed working with the people that I have in the past and currently. If there is anything that I can do to help the 818 community as well, I look forward to doing that as well.

Please feel free to give me a call or email me with any questions that I can help with. The Race Line can rebuild your gearbox, re-gear it, install LSD's, and offer great clutch options that extend past the OS Giken product line.

I look forward to being more active with the 818 builders, and as always, I am hear to help.

Best Regards,

Erik Johnson

Is O$ Giken still around? I thought they were going out of business a while ago. Are they back and how's the support from them?

Yes OS Giken is still around, and is still a very good option in differentials and clutches, The Race Line can offer other options are well beyond OS Giken, though.

It is now run by OS Giken themselves and is called OS Giken USA here in the US. Support for the differentials and clutches, is the same as it always has been.

Let me know how I can help. I am located in Colorado and our website is www.theraceline.net

Happy to help,
