I am confused about what part of my donor car shifter I need to keep. Is it just the U shaped connection to the shifter rod of the tranny, or do I need to keep more? I cannot determine from the disassembly instructions. FFR says we need to keep the "shift linkage mount to transmission". Anybody know specifically what part or parts that is?

keep everything if you are unclear...
What shifter base comes with the kit? Someone mentioned Porsche Boxster, but that's not what it looked like to me.

If that's the case then after some searching it appears its from a toyota corolla.
