    302Boss Modular

All, I'm sure I'm not the first to ask or post this thread but has anyone put a new Boss engine in a coupe? Any issues such as clearance, mounting, header set up? Found a great article below. Anyone have any thoughts on addressing loss of torque?

I agree with Riptide. It can be done but there will be some fitment mods that would need to be done.

It may fit, but it would not be worth modifying the hood for 25 peak HP. I think you would never miss the few HP the Boss manifold gives you. I would just do the standard Coyote motor and not have to worry about hood clearance. I just did an LS1 in mine and have about 4" of hood clearance. I really like the Coyote, but it was about 3 times the price of the LS1. With the new engine it spins the Kumho's in 1st and 2nd. With the Coyote or Boss it will probably spin in 3rd also unless you run drag radials or R-Comps.
