Could use some help with my steering rack

Hi all. I just received a PSC steering rack (https://www.summitracing.com/parts/PFN-RA-33500), which I bought to finish my rolling chassis as my kit POL parts are over 2 months out. Researching it a bit, I found that many of you all are not happy with the F5 rack anyway, and have used this PSC upgrade. My question is with regard to the F5 tie rod extensions. What I gather is that these are intended to improve the stock mustang rack against bump steer, and not needed on the F5 complete kit racks. So, should I pull apart the PSC rack and install them, or is this a better performing part?
    Thanks for the help!
    Tom

I installed the PSC rack in my Mk5 build based on multiple recommendations. It is highly recommended to add rack extenders for the best front end geometry and elimination of bump steer. Which isn't nice. Not necessary on the Factory Five supplied PS rack because they source them with the wider dimension. Nothing about the PSC rack is going to compensate for the narrower stock width. I installed Breeze #35491 Rack Extender Set, 1", for '87 - '93 Mustang Power Rack. Factory Five also sells them. They were a little challenging to install because the inner tie rods on the PSC rack were very tight and not easy to break loose. But got it done. My Mk5 build is still underway, so I can't comment yet about actual performance. But I'm confident it will be fine.

Uhmmm, I just tried to go to the Breeze site and it says Bluehost has suspended the account. I hope it is simply a URL issue.

I destroyed the FF rack doing autocross and went with the PSC RA33500 and love it. I did install the rack extenders and it's been perfect.
I just saw these racks on Summit for $75 as well. Ordering now for a spare, you cannot beat that deal.

Just ordered it at $75; it's now $425 on there site. I wonder if they had it priced wrong?

Yeah, I just clicked on the link in the first post and it is not $75.00 but rather $425.00. Sounds like a pricing error but knowing Summit they will probably honor it.
