That looks way better than the radiator hoses! Looks like it would introduce more possible failure points since each hose connection is now multiple parts.

Not sure, I prefer the Boig hoses and the alstar (gates) shrink clamps for a clean look.
It's funny you brought this up. I have been looking for dress up/clean up parts for the Coyote for almost a year. This is what I have found - there isn't much and what there is costs a kings ransom.
Billet valve covers with coil pack relocation - $2200.
AN plumbing and hoses - $1000
I think that's it. Yes, I am being a little facetious, but the options are severely limited. I have somewhat consigned myself to a nice cover and calling it good. I hope you continue to look and find some great stuff.

I was just watching this video like 2 days ago if you don’t try it I will …I had great success with all the products I purchased for motion Raceworks for my twin turbo LS racecar …. Best of all they stand behind their products …. I prefer the AN lines for easier installation and prefer the look …I would purchase today but I just placed an order with Brent over at snakebite need another paycheck before I purchase the AN lines lol

Watched the video, reviewed their website, tried to follow everything they're doing. A little unclear for me I guess because he mentioned so many possibilities. I'm a little reluctant to get too crazy with changing up the cooling system because I've kept things pretty stock on previous Coyote builds and they worked great plus with mainly street cruising, not stressing things like they apparently are. Having said that, I feel your pain. I'm in the very preliminary stages of figuring out how to plumb my Aluminator powered Mk5 build. I'm hearing that Boig may have a solution for the lower radiator hose. That would be a great start. For the upper, I plan to install an expansion tank with the Ford standard cooling setup as I've done in the past. Right off the bat the quick connect on the water pump is limiting my choices. Looking at the adapter from PBH (https://pbhperformance.com/product/c...-hose-adapter/) which would give some options with regular 1.5" hose. But no decisions yet. Will be very interested to see what you come up with.

Someone correct me, if I am wrong here. I was going to go with the Boig cool tubes, but I understand they are now made of steel, instead of aluminum. That is the tilting point for me.

I would like to treat my gas pedal as a binary operator. It would be nice to get the cooperation of everyone in front of me.
I'm going to dig a bit more on this. I want to understand how the AN fittings connect to the radiator and if the factory thermostat is retained as well as how the heater hoses get done.

Getting a custom hose shouldn't be a problem if you have access to a welding shop. You can buy aluminum bends from many places. Cut and piece together the hose, marking or taping it. The welder can weld the pieces together, no problem. If you can't get the ends beaded, the welder can easily put a weld bead on the ends to keep the hose secured. I would use 6061 AL tubing.

I'm skeptical. I like the factory routing and hoses -as edwardb has always espoused. I took that approach on my Gen II. My skepticism is this: first, you need to consider the volume of coolant going through the hoses. If you don't get the hose size right, you are going to restrict the volume of water going through the engine. I believe volume is much more important than pressure here. (the video did spend some time on the coolant pressure) Do we know what the friction loss is using the AN hoses compared to the factory hoses? That will affect not only pressure, but volume as well. We know that the factory hoses support the cooling needs of the engine. I believe that is a critical part of this. Second, unless they've changed it, the FFR routing was much different from the factory routing. While I understand that there are a number of ways you can accomplish this, and many builders have been successful using the FFR routing or some other "custom" routing, I still like the factory approach, because we know it supports the coyote's needs.

Just my opinion. A solution to a problem that doesn't exist. I piece the upper together with stuff FFR and the control pack supply. I use Boig for the lower.
Yes, the new Boig is steel but its ceramic coated.

You could also just replace the coolant neck on the radiator with a weld on bung. That would eliminate the adaptor.
I'm considering this for my Mk5 build 302 build, as of now, I don't think Boig has cool tubes for a Mk5 302 set up. And I refuse to use that corrugated stuff.
