    Super Dave's 35 Truck Build

Hi, my name is David (Super Dave) I'm from North Idaho and wanted to start my build thread

    I have build a few 5.0 mustangs, V8 S10's and a LS swapped 2nd gen GMC Canyon

Looking to do something different on this build and go outside the normal engine / trans combos (and my comfort zone) It probably will offend some of you (but hopefully not)
Engine will be a Honda K24 (2.4L 4cyl) and a 8HP70 (8 speed) trans out of a dodge. The K24 will be turbo charged along with some go fast goodies.

Order was placed 4/6/26 with an estimated completion date of 5/16/26

I've learned a lot from this forum and will share my mods and custom touches
    Thank you for reading this

    Dave,

Welcome aboard! I am super excited to hear about your build. I LOVE anything unique. Really looking forward to following along and please feel free to reach out if you need anything. Absolutely nobody will be offended. My next build might very well end up including a used Tesla motor.

P.S. I have spent a fair amount of time in the Coeur d'Alene and Missoula area.

    Welcome!

I contemplated a Ford inline 300 but went with traditional 383 SBC.

I like different. That's why my truck will have a steel bed on it.

    Lookin forward to your build.
