    First Window Rock Chip-Dang!!!

So I got my first rock chip, looks like it could be a crack in short order. Any experience with repairing using Rain-X type kit or professional? chances of success or plan for a new Window? I have a new window from when I thought I messed up the first window frame, so I can replace it but it has only been 2,000 miles.

If it's a chip, then most likely you can leave it. If it's a crack, it will just get worse. My last glass windshield had a ton of chips in it. I was worried that it would eventually crack, so had it wrapped with PPF. This time I have a Lexan.

I have used both pro and do it yourself repairs. Our local pro guys can even repair long cracks so they don't grow more. I have found the pro repairs often hide the chip better. You need good sun light to cure the resin on the home kits.
