Body Buck

Does anyone know if the body buck is the same for the 289?

From what I was reading, it only had to be ball parked for the MKIV. I assume it should still work for the 289. At least I hope it does. But I'll defer to the pros on this forum.

I’m hoping/assuming the buck works - I was planning to work on mine next week as my 289 kit will be here soon. I do know someone who might know based upon prior experience. I’ll check and let you know.

I used the standard MK IV buck as shown in the manual on my 289 and it worked fine for my needs.

Thanks for input everyone! I'll stick with MKIV buck dimensions as laid out in the manual.
