    Shock Alternatives???

    Hey everyone,

I have some questions regarding the shocks on my MK3.1 (solid axle/3-Link). Currently, I'm running Koni shocks on the front and Bilsteins on the rear. I'm thinking about swapping out the rear Bilsteins for Konis, but Factory Five never seems to have them in stock. This got me wondering, what alternatives are out there?

I've heard some of you mention QA-1 shocks, but I haven't been able to find them on any of the usual sites. I'm curious about what shocks and spring rates you're using and how you find the ride quality. Any recommendations or insights would be greatly appreciated!

We found that using the heim-jointed rear lower control arms from Breeze made a huge improvement in ride quality ... I've got an MK3.1 with 3 link, running the Koni's from FFR.

Thanks for the offer. Not yet ready to pull the trigger on anything just yet, still in research phase.

I have heard this and have those already in hand, just need to install them.

Same as Danmas, I have the QA1s from Gordon Levy. If you talk to Gordon he will recommend spring rates for you, depending on your style of driving.
