    Talking New Order!

    Hello all!

After some serious deliberation with my dad, we finally came to the decision and bought a kit! We went with the following:

-will be installing a 347 ci with either a T5 world class or TKX
    -31 spline driveshaft
    -3-Link Deluxe Rear Suspension
-Moser 8.8' 3 Link Solid axle Rear End Housing
    -Rear Solid Axle Brake Kit
-Will eventually upgrade to Wilwood brakes, (my dad gets them at a discount being a mecahnic)

We already have a body in the works in the color (matte black) and will be keeping the interior extremely minimalistic.

    Delivery date set for March,2024!

I assume you two decided on the Hot Rod instead of the roadster, seeing that this is posted where it is. Congrats! However long it takes to get your kit, you will think whats taking so long and the closer it gets the more excited you get! Welcome to the club. We love to spend other people's money. Enjoy. I would recommend the TKX.

I'm with you on the matte and minimalistic interior. The hot rod and the truck do really well with that concept.

FYI, the T5 uses a 28 spline slip yoke. If you go that way you will need to swap the 31 spline one on your drive shaft.

Congratulations! I hope yours arrives early. I ordered my 33 Hot Rod in December, 2022 with an expected ready to ship date of August 2023, so I planned for a delivery sometime in September 2023. Every email with F5 informed me it was moving up, and on Memorial day (10 days ago) , the Stewart truck was rolling down my street. It went from a nine month wait to a six month wait. It certainly got a few neighbors over asking what I was getting now.
