The right coolant

Wanted to check if what I bought would be the right coolant (diluted, if course) for the BPE 427. My undersntsidng is that the block is cast iron and heads are aluminum. Not sure what the FFR radiator material is, probably aluminum too.

I'm running DexCool antifreeze in mine based on recommendations from several builders.

Like Papa I use DexCool. I decided on that, as it was engineered for aluminum block engines. We have aluminum radiators, heads and intakes so a coolant that is best for aluminum made the most sense. What you show is a generic of DexCool, it should be fine. One thing I do is never mix coolants, so stick with that if you are going to use it, don't ever add blue or green.

I am running a Coyote engine, probably 90% aluminum. I bought an aluminum friendly anti freeze that is compatible with most manufacturers brands.
My logic is I can add about any brand, blend, except Dex.
It is not the issue it once seemed, I can always add water to get me home.

I bought the FORD Motorcraft orange concentrate coolant when the COYOTE engine was new. Been using it ever since seems to work well & no issues with the pretty much all alloy cooling & engine package.

Was reading for a mixed iron - alloy cooling system a nitrite free HD Organic Acid Technology (OAT) coolant is a good choice. Issue with it you pretty much are locked into whatever brand you choose. It does not mix well.

Evans coolant is really good. It doesn't expand like regular coolant and if you overheat you supposedly won't blow coolant all over the place since their boiling point is much higher than most. Recommended by Mike Forte to me.
