TKX Wiring for Coyote
Would anyone have a schematic or advice on connecting the clutch safety sensor and the reverse brake lights on the Tremec TKX? Connecting the speedo was easy because the Ron Francis rear harness already had the plug. In the pedal box, I already connect the clutch safety wires to the cylinder plunger switch, per instructions. But I can't find any instructions or wiring diagrams that talk about the clutch safety switch at the transmission itself. Same for reverse brake lights.
Thanks,

The clutch safety switch interrupts the starter and doesn't go to or through the transmission. For the backup light, there is a plug on the trans. You can buy the pigtails/plug connector from various sources.

Are you talking about the neutral safety switch? I just left that plug on the harness and zip tied it to keep it out of the way.

Just to make sure it's clear, the Coyote control pack harness comes with a clutch safety switch. Doesn't involve the Ron Francis blue start wire or the transmission. Just wire it like the Ford and FF instructions show. Tie the blue RF wire intended for the safety switch out of the way or remove. Doesn't matter if the two ends (where the switch would normally go) are tied together or not. They're not in the circuit when the Coyote switch is used.

Thanks, Paul. I didn't realize that. Sorry for giving bad info.

I am pretty sure the reverse light is just a normally open switch, right? (I didn't use it)
You just run your lead though it and when its not in reverse the contact isn't made and no current passes through then when you are in reverse it competes the circuit.
