Question Coyote EFI Harness Fusel Panel Bracket - Logo Reversed???

Just wondering if anyone else has had this same 'cosmetic' problem. The Coyote Fitment instructions are simple enough: locate the fuse panel mounting bracket with the logo, and mount to the passenger side footbox:

The problem? This is what I received in my kit:

Was this just a bending error with the bracket (i.e. bent it the wrong way), so now the logo is backwards? Or, did they intend that the bracket be turned 180° so that the panel mounts further back, like this?:

I have a heater at the firewall so I can only get the box so close. Don't want to start drilling until I know the harness will reach all the right spots.

    Thanks,

Yes yours is bent backwards. I have one I’m not using, I mounted mine to the firewall. It has a light coat of black vht paint on it but you’re welcome to it for shipping.

Yours was bent the wrong way, I had the same issue. I mounted the control box to the firewall and then modified the bracket as a mount for my brake/clutch reservoirs (Scott’s Hotrod Triple).

I also mounted mine to the firewall and used that bracket to support the heater bypass.

Thanks, but I think I'll try and come up with a work-around. Showing the logo is not high on my wish list.

Do you have wiper motor as well? I'd be interested to see where you placed the EFI fuse box in relation to the heater fan and the wiper motor. Thanks!

Here is how I repurposed my bracket:

Would you have a picture of where you mounted the Coyote fuse box? I have a wiper motor and heater as well. Thanks.

I mounted my fuse box on the firewall/driver's side. I attached it to the cross beam after tapping some holes. It seems to work well there, plenty of clearance and the cables are long enough to reach the PCM. I have wipers (Specialty Power Windows), but do not have a heater. I don't think this location would interfere with either. I am not using a master power cut off switch, but I think this location would work well if one did decided to use a switch.

    Good luck,
    James

I have a heater, wipers, and coyote and mounted mine similar to James, just a little higher up.
