Removing inner tie rod ends to install steering rack extenders
Is there any trick to removing the inner tie rod ends to install the rack extenders? Mine don't have locking roll pins installed but they won't budge with reasonable pressure. Do I have to worry about breaking anything internal in the rack if I crank on them with long wrench?

I used a big wrench and a long cheater bar with the rack in a vise wrapped in a towel and let fulcrum do the work. It is a tight fine thread but will come off. Nick C

The rack inards move left to right and don't rotate so you won't turn anything but the big nut. Nick

Thanks Nick. That did it, just needed a bigger wrench. (And the knowledge it wouldn't jack anything up)
