Almost made it to go-kart. Power steering question
Looking for some quick advice. I have power steering “stock” for BPE and rack from FFR. I thought I bled the system well by filling pump and running engine while cycling left to right. I was getting ready to taking out for go karting and turned the wheel. It immediately went hard to left and vibrated back and forth (wheel stayed hard left). I turned car off and straightened wheel. Started and turn to right same thing. Went hard right and shook.
Pressure side of pump is connected to the upper port on rack and return is connected to lower.
What am I missing?
Thanks in advance

I think your fitting are reversed on the rack. Pressure is on the bottom return is on the top.

Not a waxer
Mike,
You are connected backwards as AROCK said. I see that I missed your call earlier today and suspect this is what it was for; if not feel free to try again.
Good luck with the go/carting!

Dang it....sure enough. that fixed it. Frustrating because I remember asking that question on the forum before, made a note in my build book .... and I still managed to connect backwards.
Thanks for the quick replies AROCK and Jeff
I was able to get one quick "round the block". Brake check and back in the garage. No more day light......
