Place in Blaine WA to transfer my kit from Stewart to trailer?

    i Guys,

I have officially started on my Factory Five adventure by placing my order with FF for a 818C kit, one I am planning to make electric, just because I can . It is scheduled for completion by FF end of Oct. I am planning to have stewart transportation deliver it to me in Blaine WA, I live in Surrey BC just north of there. My question is where have you guys found to unload the kit from their truck to me? I am planning to rent a Uhaul pickup and trailer as I think that will fit everything as some other guys have done but I just am not sure where I can arrange to meet Stewart to do the unloading. Any suggestions are welcome. And yes I am gambling that the borders are going to open up before then...fingers crossed.

Cant wait to get started on a build. I have already started to tear the 2003 Impreza apart with my daughter....she is going to love this project.

Congrats! exciting times. I did exactly as you are planning although my kit was the hot rod.
I rented a Uhaul pickup as well as the 6 x 12 utility trailer with ramp. The chassis with body fit in the trailer and the majority of the boxes in the back of the pickup. Worked great.
The location we used was suggested by Stewart, they are fairly experienced at this as you can guess. It was the southeast corner of Hwy 15 (543) and H Street (other side of H street from the Burger King). This is an unused lot where many semi trailers are already parked.

Happy to help in any other way I can, just shout
    Cheers and have fun

Thanks, I did ask the guy at Stewart and he didn’t know but said he would ask his drivers who may have been out this way. He said it’s not a big deal and we will sort it out as we get closer… your suggestion sounds ideal. Much appreciated. Just need the borders to open up.. I am being hesitant about buying much else incase I can’t go and get it, wish shipping to Canada was not so outlandish.

If you look on the TC web site they say you need to contact them for the form.

I do have a word version of the blank form if you send me a PM with your email address I can send it to you as well as well as a sample of how I filled it out.
