    which fuel lines are preferrued?

    Hey y'all,
I'm running a Coyote gen 3 in a gen 3 coupe and I see that FFR provided the steel fuel lines, and Ford Racing provided some black braided flexible lines. It looks like the black Ford Racing lines screw nicely right into the fuel pressure regulator and match the line that runs from the regulator to the motor, so that might look and match better.

Any feedback as to which is better structurally? What are y'all using if you are running the same motor setup?

    Thanks!!

Not familiar with what lines Ford Performance would have supplied. That's news to me. Maybe you mean another vendor or Factory Five? Many are using flex line for all the fuel lines. Just make sure it's the Teflon lined variety. Personally, I'm more old school and prefer hard lines. The steel lines from Factory Five are on the small side IMO for a Gen 3 Coyote. 5/16" supply and 1/4" return is what they've supplied in the past. I prefer 3/8" supply and return.

Edwardb - I think you are correct - the black flexible lines must have also came from FFR with their coyote install kit. I've put in the steel lines, but was missing some of the fittings to connect to the fuel pressure regulator, then I found the black flexible lines and thought they would match better and be simpler since they have nice fittings on them, and would match the engine to regulator line that came with the kit. but before I went to the hassle I thought I would see if there was any drawback to using the provided black flexible lines. Does FFR provide the Teflon lines ones, or how would I tell?

I would be very surprised if they're not. They've done this for a while. But doesn't hurt to ask them.
