Brake Pedal - Whitby | Power Brake Kit
All,
Quick question on the Brake Pedal...the brake pedal is facing inward...its like your foot could slip downward while pressing on the pedal (I have not bled the brakes but I don't think that will push the pedal foward...to a more upright position)

1) Have you experienced this issue?
2) Is there any adjustment that can be done on the brake booster itself?
3) Do I need to remove the pedal and bend it?

I would not expect the height to change when bled. The master cylinder has a spring to push it closed with or without fluid. Assuming nothing is hanging it up. I also wouldn't expect you need to bend the pedal arm. Looks to me like your pushrod length is too short.

I am not sure how that pad is attached to the stock pedal. Could you put some washers under it to shim it to a better angle?

Toadster, Is your brake rod (pedal to booster) adjustable? I didn't buy the Whitby kit, but have the same individual components purchased separately , and I made my own brake pedal arm (same size/shape as the Wilwood pedal). I never had this issue after adjusting the brake rod. Honestly don't remember the length, but I had to cut down the original, if I'm remembering correctly.

ok thanks... yes the rod for the master cylinder I've adjusted
this is the pedal rod I honestly never disassembled it to see if it had any adjustment, from Whitbys' response it doesn't sound like it
I may have to see if I can remove/bend the pedal... what a PITA!

We ended up cutting the brake pedal, adjusting the pedal angle and re-welding the pedal because it was basically inverted after initially installing it. It’s wasn’t a big job…. I had someone with technical welding skills help me do it… probably took us 15 mins. Then you can use washers for smaller adjustments for final fit.
Have an amazing day.
