    Indiana Registration and safety inspection

I am looking for feedback on any specific inspection requirements that the state of Indiana has. I have done some research and it appears that there is not a physical inspection other than to verify component serial numbers etc. I am considering installing competition Wilwood brakes form Gordon Levy with the hydraulic ball lock for a parking brake instead of the traditional emergency/ parking brake handle. I am wondering if there are any safety inspections that require the emergency brake handle (I live in the Indianapolis area and my county does not have annual inspections).

Has anyone had inspection nightmares by eliminating the handle in other states? The reason for doing so is mitigate the fit issues I have read about on the forum and well as gain so room on the PS. (plus I hear the handle is darn near impossible to reach in an emergency situation )

Indiana does not inspect anything for functionality, only numbers and ownership. I have gotten inspections done and registrations completed with non-running rolling chassis.
