    Clutch question

Anyone know if this is normal? TR3650 5 speed, replaced clutch and throw out bearing before installing trans. The clutch fork doesn’t engage the throw out bearing until there is only about a 1/2 inch of clearance left between the fork arm and the bell housing (see pics).2037867F-6A9D-464A-A9E7-A8E19434F289.jpg241EBFB0-384B-40D8-929B-5DEE8E2D5C71.jpg

Sounds like you have too short of a clutch pivot ball.

Make sure the throw out bearing is installed correctly too. https://www.google.com/search?rlz=1C...uRggfPu7uoBA29

I didn’t realize there were different lengths on the pivot ball. Note this engine transmission combo came directly out of a 2002 donor. As far as I know the clutch was supposed to be a direct replacement.
