Question What are these parts for?

    Hello all,
    Hope everyone is well.
I am nearing completion of my Mark IV and going through my "Left Overs, Not used and ??" parts boxes. I can't find what these "10646 Hood Mounting Components" are for. Hole spacing and shape seems to agree with the frame area where the hood hinges go. Anyone know what these are for?
    Thanks in advance,
    Jeff

    Jeff,

They are the hood pin mounts for those that don't go with the hinge.

Those are for using the hood pins rather than the hinges in the front. I received the pins with my kit but no brackets. Most people use the hinges so extra parts.

    CUTE!
Well...that's what I thought, but just want to make sure.
There are a lot of unused parts along with about 1000 SQUARE YARDS OF BROWN PAPER. I think I'll make a Cobra model from the paper.

It's the lock down ! It's driving me mad. OK, I've always been like this but "Lock Down Fever" seems reasonable....right...DaBat

Super secret origami party? Why wasn’t I told?...oh, wait, nvm.

If these origami are Cobra replicas we could use the hood pin brackets after all!
