Just got my MK IV Roadster (#8516RD) back, painted by Whitby in Greensboro!

It took a long time (Jeff was swamped with customers), but looks fabulous, and Jeff Collins is a very nice and conscientious guy. Also bought their side louvers and tonneau cover. Just the interior to complete now!

Looks great. Mine is there now.
I am afraid to ask but how long did they have the car?
Did you have them mount the body after they painted it?

    Steve and Todd,

Thanks for the compliments on my shop. It is a "Hobby Barn" I had done 2 years ago by Morton Buildings (HQ in IL, local guys in Culpepper VA), though I wish I'd done it sooner. All steel, insulated, heated and cooled, 42 x 53 ft. Here are a couple of pix:

Looks really great. Outstanding choice on colors. Ok, I may be a bit biased. Those are the exact colors (right down to the codes) as on my #7750 Mk4. Really outstanding colors. I'm never at car shows that people don't comment repeatedly about the red candy. Happened multiple times at a show again today. In bright sunlight or under bright lights it's amazing.

Could be making another appearance on my current build.

    Jim-

I thought I recognized the building. I am a big fan of the Morton buildings. Yours looks great. The white interior really makes everything look terrific.

I am very impressed with the overall cleanliness and organization! It makes me look bum-like by comparison! ;-o)

Great car and a great shop!

    Regards,

    Steve

Edward, you should know I picked those colors because of some photos of your #7750 build you posted last year! Thanks, and it really does look great in the sunshine.

Cool! You're welcome. The real thanks go to my painter who recommended that particular candy red when I described what I was looking for. Enjoy!
