Ultra Ford Thermostat Housing Assy. Cobra Earl

TD Motion has put together a complete Thermostat Housing Assembly Kit part of it derives from the lower Cobra Earl Lower Housing. As some of you may know Earl no longer sells to the public due to health issues but we still have available.

The small block Fords have a lot of issues with getting Air Trapped and not allowing the Air to "Burp" from the Cooling system. Leading to hot spots and fooling the cooling system into thinking its full. This Housing assy will release all the air out of the cooling system. Runs more $$ than a cheap chrome plated steel housing that often leak and peel. This Assembly looks pretty cool under the Hood to Boot!!

Yes not cheap and may not be in budget for everyone. This serves both Form and Function. Dresses up your engine bay, unique look and better cooling characteristics.

IMO, one of the biggest flaws on most of these cars is a poorly designed cooling system. Common on that poor design is the inability to allow trapped air to escape. Most common to that design flaw is either A. not having the fill at the highest point in the system or B. not having sufficient space for an air pocket to form with coolant flowing so that the air can dump into the overflow/recovery tank via the vented cap.

This design address both of those concerns quite nicely. If I could have purchased this part a few years earlier, it would have saved me considerable time and money. $320 seems like a good price to me.

    Here is mine.

Makes sense if it solves a problem.
