Mk IV Painter in Seattle Area

I live in the Seattle area and am looking for a good painter that won't break the bank for my Mk IV build. Does anyone from this area have recommendations?

I don't know how I missed your build - I'm probably not checking in here as a much as I should...

I'm in Seattle (almost to Shoreline) and would love to check out your progress (hit me up on PM if you'd like to get together).

As for a painter, most of the guys around either, a) found a local painter whose never done one of these cars before, quoted a reasonable price, and subsequently vowed never to do another one, b) found a local painter who charges a premium above what the rest of the country does, or c) takes the body/car to a non-local painter.

I did option C, and even factoring truck rental, airfare on Southwest Airlines it was *still* cheaper to take it to SRP in Yuba City, CA than local options.

I'm also hearing good things about Oregon painter(s)...

Mine is a challenge car so it gets beat that the track, so mine is not a car to look at for the quality of the paint, but I had mine done by SRP and I had quality issues and zero customer care if you have problems or need some things fixed. So I found a painter (Gary) in Oregon (Just past Salem) that has done lots of coupes and roadsters which you can see. Jeff just had his done by Gary so you can look at that and Michael has his coupe there now. I'm taking my challenge car down to him this weekend to have him fix a exhaust burn that I have. Gary will also do my 818 in a few months. He has top notch equipment and paint booth (much better than SRP). Check him out and talk to Jeff (rotocraft) for a recent report on his paint experience.
