    BigLeo69,

Are you leaking through the top of the mid-shifter? This was common and there was a fix if that is what is happening.

no i come to find out its the top cover, Mike Forte doesn't remove it to put his midshifter conversion on from what i am told
i put baby powder on the topside passenger side after cleaning it and taking it for a run and it is leaching out the top, hard to say if it coming from anything lower but its definitely in front and it appears to be not in the bellhousing.
new tranny and go-cart finally and i am at my boiling point...............the top bolts are suppose to be about 22ftlbs and i found the front ones to be loose, maybe i got a tranny built on friday or monday.

    BigLeo69,

I found this old post - http://www.ffcars.com/forums/17-fact...ease-help.html and there is video about what i was referring to. I have my TKO out right now, so I think I will check the torque on all the bolts. I hope you get your TKO all sealed up. good night

talked to Mike last week said he was sending me a part still no response on shipping, the other thing on that thread it could be is the vent plug may have sealer on it and keeping it from venting correctly, somethin i learned from a friend.
new part sits for about a year and u get it in and it leaks.....thats BS
tremec should stand up for parts and Mike should respond to help with no delay, my brother told me to ship it back.
90 day warranty, but u think a company that supplies us guys with parts to build knows we don't put it in right away, we need it for the build. so an easy 90 day warranty.
    almost like a taillight warranty.
starting to get me Irish up

make sure u check the torque sequence on those bolts its in the manual i posted.
