I have a donor turn signal. I am a little confused on the instructions about cutting the signal. Does anyone have any completed photos of their turn signal? I think if I could see how the donor signal looks finished, I would better understand it.

Hi Paul,
Do you have a chassis harness from FFR or the donor harness? The reason I asked is I was installing the donor signal under the dash per the manual. Well, actually I had it installed. I found I had a wiring issue (at least an issue for my understanding of wiring harnesses). So I changed course and purchased a 3 position switch to mount on the dash. Since I wanted a "race car dash look", I mounted it in the curve of the dash on the left side of the steering wheel. It is easy to reach now that I am used to doing the maneuver with my left hand (left handed). This switch plugs directly into the slender 9 pin GM type steering column plug and includes a brake and hazards light circuit. It simplified things. If you have the wiring already figured out, please, disregard the post.
Good luck on your build,
WEK.

i don't have the lights hooked up yet so i am not sure if there is a wiring problem or not. I have thought about the 3 position switch as well. I just haven't seen any photos of the turn signal installed.
