OK, Next problem - Throttle Cable

I installed the throttle pedal today then went to put in the cable but the little lead ball at the end of the cable falls right through the hole in the pedal arm. I called FF and they said it should fit without anything but the CAD picture shows some sort of spacer/washer.
    What am I missing?????/

There should be a plastic sleeve on the cable to snap into the throttle pedal.

nope, comes on the new cable, too big to go through the hole, you have to drill extra large hole in firewall and use some sort of washer setup on firewall. I've seen updated instruuctions come through on one of the manual updates, I had to modify my own last summer when I did mine

agreed, should be already installed on the cable, no way to install it after. chances are it cracked off during packing/transport.
