    Windshield storage warning

    The 818 windshield comes securely taped into the frame that is bolted in place for shipment. I devised 2 chains and hooks to hang it out of the way, wrapped in a moving blanket, until needed. Today I found the glass had come out of the frame! Amazingly, the glass had fallen to the floor but was not broken or chipped! Whew! This is a warning that this may happen to you if you hang the windshield. My Arizona garage is hotter than yours, but be warned.
