ffr driveshaft help

I am trying to install my FFR driveshaft (#14776 ) into the trans. (M-7003-Z, T-5) and the yoke will only go in 1.5 inches. I would think most of the yoke would be inside the tail shaft . Am I missing something ?

The Tremec trans I have (TKO-600) came with a large seal around the tail shaft. According to the instructions, could can either pull it out or push it into the trans. I tried to take mine out but it kept pulling apart so finally just pushed it in the trans. Look at the end of your trans and see if you have the same issue. It is a very dense foam rubber type seal.

Thank you Ron, I will see if mine is like that. Right now the only thing I see is the tail shaft seal.
