So I was putting my shocks together and read in the manual that the rear shocks are 2.5" longer than the fronts. Measured them and that is the case with mine. front shocks are koni #822610 and the rear # is 822611. The threaded adjustment sleaves and all the other parts, except for the springs (one is 400# and the rear are 250#) are the same. My rear shocks, with the adjuster all the way up, has about a 2" gap between the top of the coil spring and the retaining hat when fully extended. Is this right? That means if I put my truck on the lift that my springs will be loose around the shock. Another person on the forum said that the truck coil overs are supposed to be the same length as the fronts. Did I get the wrong coil overs or just the wrong threaded adjusters?
