Installing 2001 Mustang Cobra Hydro-boost in Mk IV Base Kit

On page 193 of the Mk IV base manual it says that I can use the 2001 brake hydro booster on my Mk IV. The mounting plate will not fit. I have attached photos. Does anyone have suggestions?
