New MK5 turn signal
Quick question, when I use the hazard button on the turn signal stock, hazard lights come no problem. Put my foot on the brake and it over rides the hazards and all four corners are stay light up. Obviously it's back feeding something. The yellow and white wires were cut in the RF harness as per instructions. Only other thing in the brake system is the Digital Guard Dawg brake pedal sensor at the brake switch.
Higgy

Normal behavior. This is from my truck build, which uses the same GM style turn signal switch in the ididit column. "In one of my previous posts, I described that the hazards worked fine (ignition on or off) but stopped flashing when the brake pedal is pushed. Upon further research, determined this is normal behavior when the light fixtures are using the same element for brakes and turn signals. There is no other option unless there are separate fixtures. Also makes logical sense I think. When moving with the hazards flashing, if you braked you would want the brake lights to show that versus keep flashing."
Wired per the DGD directions, the switch on the brake pedal would have no effect.
