    Vintage BR Series Wheels

    -- SOLD --

Selling the Vintage BR Series one-piece cast aluminum wheels previously installed on my Factory Five roadster by the builder (replaced them with replica Halibrand wheels). The finish is a mid-gray powder coated center with machined rims.

The striking BR Series wheel was inspired by the 1960s Le Mans sports racing GT cars -- see attached photo of wheels mounted on a GT40 below.

These particular wheels were specially ordered when purchased in 2008 by the builder (extra wide 11.5” rear wheels), and were mounted on the roadster for a total of 12 years and have approximately 1,500 miles on them.

I've included a photo of the wheels, adapters, and spinners after they were removed from the roadster (close-up of each wheel available upon request).

    Wheel specifications:

    • Wheel diameter x width > 17” x 9” (front) and 17” x 11.5” (rear)
    • Bolt pattern x circle > 5 x 4 5/8”
    • Backspace > 4 7/16”
    • Adapter thickness > 3/8” (10 hole adapters)
    • Wheel weight > 23 lb. (front) and 25.5 lb. (rear)

Note: The wheel studs may need to be modified for proper fitment of wheels.

The wheels are in excellent condition with no dents, cracks, or curbing. There are minor scratches & scuffs where the aluminum safety wires were attached to the spinners and wheels, as well as normal wear & tear consistent with the wheels being mounted on the car for over 12 years.

Asking $2,500 or best offer for the complete set of wheels, adapters, and spinners (cost new is $3,995). The wheels are located in Monterey, CA.

Please let me know if you have any questions or need more information ... for more details, visit the Vintage BR Series wheel web page.
