The entry is just a post with a lot of BB Code added for formatting, but you will recognize your build specs and be able to update them over time. PLEASE add recent or classic build pictures! I am the Original owner of my MKIII Roadster. Here are some pics of my car, with commentary:

First of all, I wouldn't have been able to do it without the help from many, many Factory Five Friends!

They not only helped me through the forums, they sometimes crashed my house at least 3 times for build parties. When I couldn't get past mounting brake lines, they were there:

The friends I've made since I picked up this hobby in 2004 have been some of the best I've ever had.

"I" finished building the car to a road-worthy state in 2009 and drive the wheels off of it until I had it painted by "Da Bat" Jeff Miller in the spring of 2012. Here it is in October 2011 Running through turn 4 at Willow Springs. During this stage of the build, she was a bit of a rat rod. Gel Coat, No Carpet or dash pad, natural pipes, spit, blood, more than a few clecos and absolutely no polish! I ran the car for 2 years in this configuration.

As of the spring of 2016 she is once again going through a change, or shall I say a proper finishing! Here she is getting her splash guards installed (finally!)

Detailed Description of Custom features
Pretty basic build except for some driver side mods to foot box for big feet (left side alum and extension of crash bar). I've installed a Wilwood dual master cyl brake system with Forte clutch quadrant setup. EFI has been upgraded to include lower Holley Systemax EFI manifold with a custom polished sheetmetal uppe plenum chamber with 75 mm throttle body, 24 lab injectors and matching MAF meter. I installed a RAM clutch and alum flywheel. I worked the GT40P heads (exhaust runners) and port matched the intake and exhaust headers (BBK ceramic 4 tube) and shaved the heads a little. I also used Crane alum roller rockers (1.7). I expect to produce 350+ hp at the flywheel. That should perform comparably with the roadster used for the performance chart on the FFR website. The front brakes and spindles are from a 2000 GT. Upgraded 4 link to a custom 5 link with Watt's link. First engine start was Mar 13, 2012. Officially street legal/registration on May, 2013. Added third brake light on back of both roll bar hoops. Modified front suspension to lower UCA anti dive (6 degree pinion wedges) and lengthened, moved LCAs inboard, DIY SAI mod. On going small mods to personalize project. Plan to have a real paint job on it before Jan 24 of 2014. Will never be finished. WEK. :cool::cool:

Built to drive! No trailer queen. All aluminum 427 sideoiler block from Robert Pond Motorsports. 482 ci with just at 600hp and 600ft lbs torque. Started with Kevlar clutch from Superior but smoked it in 3300 miles. Now running a dual disc Mcloed unit. Upgrading now to the Wilwood brake package and adding larger radiator for the 100 degree summer heat in western Colorado. An absolute blast to drive and draws a crowd wherever I stop.

I picked this up at FFR when I lived in NH. It was built in and originally registered in NH. I moved back to AZ in 2007 and it has been w/me all along.
It also has a snapless tonneau cover
a first-generation soft top with the sliding plexiglass windows
I built it w/a 1989 5.0 efi set up. In 2012, I swapped the engine for a dual-quad equipped 427 Windsor.

I also added:
- front and rear swaybars (21mm/19mm NA Miata front units)
- I welded a length of roll bar material between the front of the main frame tubes for a front jacking point
- a removable lower radiator support rail
- the dash has finished ends and the bottom edge is mounted to hinged plates to allow fairly easy access to the stuff on the back
- rear console is made of 5/8" ply and a 2x4 so it's strong enough to push yourself up out of the driver's seat
- a crossover pipe connecting the two exhaust sides at the J-pipes
- a high-mounted third brake light in a custom housing made from a fiberglass hood scoop
- I narrowed the top of the driver's door ~1" for more shoulder room
- After reading about a couple of cars burning to the ground, I installed the fire system I had been planning to use in my ITB car!
- dropped footwell floors with fabricated 'ramps' between the levels: bruised heels just looked too obvious without'em
- driver's seat is a Kirkey Pro Street Drag, which is nearly identical to their Vintage Bucket, except it has a headrest and costs less (!)
- parking brake handle is a modified MGB unit which doesn't provide quite enough leverage with the Ford caliper levers being so short
- I fabbed gap-filling panels out of sheet aluminum to fit between the frame and body at the front of the rear wheel wells
- custom gas pedal with additional return springs. I also extended the control arm on the throttle body to soften the throttle response
- There are maybe a half dozen sheet metal screws in the entire car. Everything else is either riveted, through-bolted with aircraft nuts or uses aircraft anchor nuts.
