I’ve been to a few concourse shows and practically none of those cars have any plastic whatsoever. I’d agree, some plastic is unavoidable but it definitely has a short lifespan and it’s much easier to make than metal parts, but the metal parts will be around long after the plastic has deteriorated. Plastic and composites are not the same.
