Congratulations! That's a huge milestone.
Congratulations.
Looks and sounds great. Congratulations. No sure how many Gen 3 Coyotes there are out there. Mine cranked a bit on the first start as well. You're brave running that thing with open exhaust. I ran mine once like that to move it, and don't plan to again. Other than being crazy loud, you'll find it runs better with the pipes. I suspect because of some back pressure and maybe mostly because the O2 sensors don't get a good signal right next to that open end.
Congrats! I agree about starting her without pipes, ear damage happens quickly.
Congratulations.
Sounds like it's good to go. Congratulations!
Things to check while it's running are Oil Pressure and if your Alternator is charging, either with an Amp meter or the rise in voltage to over 14vdc. Just a short run is not long enough for the ECU to learn anything, but it will register if sensors aren't working and throw "P" codes. Once it's warmed up and the Coolant has had a chance to get hot, you can check for coolant and oil leaks. I think one reason people "Go Cart", otherwise it's good for testing car alarms in your neighborhood!
A Big Congratulations From The Dark Side!
congrats!! I like what you did with the air intake. Have not really seen that setup before. Do you plan to do anything additional on the body to feed air to it?
Congrats! Sounds good!
Hopefully you were wearing ear plugs. Those decibels are enough to cause permanent hearing loss. Take it from someone that wears two hearing aids to hear anything. Once your hearing is gone, you don’t get it back.
Congrats. Ran mine with out pipes too. I don't hear any worse than I did before I ran it. LOL
Congrats on the first start!! Pipes only take about 15-20 minutes to install. Save your hearing!
Awesome.
Congrat's !!
Congrats on first start. I’ve been thinking of doing the same thing on the intake air. Have you done any research on the temperature drop from engine bay to wheel well? I haven’t done the upper radiator cowl because I’m thinking the engine bay would flow cooler air without it...probably not. Is that a kit or your own design?
Congrats!!! that is Awesome. Hoping to give mine a try this weekend
