'93 5.0 throttle cable question

I deleted the EGR with a spacer. The problem is the spacer is too thin and now I can't mount the throttle bracket properly. Also, I am assuming I need to drill a new hole in the bracket to mount the cable, right? Is there any hardware I might be missing?

Actually the cable goes in the slot not the hole. The large hole was for the TV cable.
