Hello from Washington
Hello all,
I feel like I have been surfing these forums for ever now. My dad, Ralph Button, gave me the Factory Five bug when he built his Mk I many many moons ago. I have forever wanted to build a Roadster and had plans on starting the process this year or next... that is until I saw the new 818c. The Roadster will have to wait now as my wife says I can only have one project car :) I have dropped my pre-order deposit on the 818c and cant wait for the fun to begin.
With limited garage space, I am rearranging my layout, getting a bit more organized and will work working on sourcing all the donor parts next.

Welcome to the forum. Do you plan to drive your build as much as your dad? The 818 coupe will make a very nice vehicle when finished.

I'd like to think I will drive as much as he has, but that's a pretty tall order as you all know. There will definitely be plenty of driving to autocross and track day events.

Welcome Snyder, where in WA are you? Just joined the Forum myself, and am waiting for my GTM to be delivered. 3 weeks (+-) are you located anywhere near the Oregon/ Washington border?
