- Biography:
- I've been into cars since I was 12, starting with my dad’s cars and dirt bikes. My first project was a 1967 Mustang convertible at 16, and I restored a 1927 Ford in 2003. Then life got busy—I had kids, built a career, and the garage mostly held bikes and the minivan while I spent my time at dance recitals with my three daughters. I always wanted to build a Cobra kit, but when I moved to Florida in my late twenties for work as a country club chef, a truck became more practical.
With my youngest about to graduate, I decided it was time to tackle the build with my dad, who’s now retired and lives nearby. After checking out the 35 Truck and doing a Build School with him in Flint, Michigan, I was all in. I placed my order in September, and delivery’s scheduled for mid-November.
