About Pjenkins
Biography:
My name is Patrick Jenkins. I am a mechanical engineer with a deep live for motorsports. I first heard the story of Shelby American many years ago in high school when one of the original Daytona coupes was up for sale at a Mecum auction. Discovery channel made a bunch of promotional material about the Cobra and Daytona Coupe and I watched it all. After watching the auction, I remember the car not selling, I googled it to find out more about the Daytona Coupe and the Cobra. Factory Five's website was one of the first results from Google. I spent weeks digging through the site after that. This was probably 10 years ago. I've been completely obsessed with building a roadster ever since. I've now gotten to the point where building one is going to be feasible.

All that being said, I am planning on a Darkside build. The LS engine is something I've been in love with longer than the Cobra. An LS powered cobra has long been a fantasy. I'm hoping to make that fantasy a reality.
