Rod Tops fitment question

by Cutter 54 on 08-22-2024 at 11:17 AM
I recently acquired a Rod Tops for my Mk 4 Roadster. The car has the FFR wind wings and Breeze billet side view mirrors which mount to the wind wing brackets. I can attach the forward snaps and fabric of the removable side windows only if I either 1) remove the wings and mirrors or 2) fold the wind wings with attached mirrors inward so they sit behind the windshield inside the cockpit. In this position the mirrors are useless for viewing the blind spots. Am I doing something wrong?

Mustang PBR front brake bolt question

by Cutter 54 on 07-04-2021 at 11:18 AM
I have a Mk 4 with Mustang PBR brakes. I have mixed up some hardware and am unsure about the 4 bolts needed to attach the FRONT CALIPERS TO THE SPINDLES.
I suspect they are the black M 12 X 1.75 bolts with hexagonal heads and dried red thread locker on the threads. They are 1.5 inches long.
Also, PLEASE CONFIRM CORRECT TORQUE. The manual mentions 95 lb ft., but I searched the bolt torque table in the back of the manual and M 12 x 1.75 are listed at 61 lb ft. Please confirm both specifications.
