  1. Thank you for the kind words. Building the car was a father/son project that was a blast to undertake. You have certainly picked the right car to obsess over. Driving one of these is like no other experience. As you’re I Kalamazoo, there may be some owners in your local area. In the summer, the Great Lakes Cobra club has a lot of activities. You can see a lot of cars. Then, there’s the London Cobra show in June. I strongly urge you to look at build threads from people like edwardb and I.E.427 on the forums. They have dozens of tips and tricks to building a car that most builders have never heard of. Send me your email address and I’ll send some pics your way.

    I saw the picture of your Cobra and decided to finally join the forum to see if I could reach out to you. I have admired the Cobra since before FFR was out there but life and family have been the focus. However, I am nearing in on actually doing the build although it seems so daunting for me. I live just North of Kalamazoo but travel down to Toledo area every so often. I love the paint color on your build and also the specs on engine selection. Any words of wisdom or pictures would be very welcome and appreciated to help push me over the line to actually follow through on a long held dream.
