Backordered parts to Canada

I am curious to find out about other Canadian experience with FFR. I purchased 3 cars from FFR - in April of last year - a 33 Hot Rod, a Mk4 and a Coupe. We are still waiting for parts and can't seem to get any response from FFR. Is this a common occurence? Comments please!

    HI, I'M FROM THE UPSTATE COBRA GUYS. BACKORDER IS COMMON. I WAITED AS LONG AS 5 MONTHS FOR ALL OF MY PARTS TO ARRIVE. WHEN YOU CALL FFR ASK FOR SHIPPING. I ALWAYS GOT A BETTER ANSWER FROM THEM. GOOD LUCK ON YOUR BUILDS.

    I bought a complete kit mid-October and missing parts have been delivered completly in March; many fans told me that it is common in Kit car industry. Be patient ...

    Call, call, call. Email is spotty at best! As mentioned above, ask for shipping, and they will accomodate you. Also, if they say "it's arriving next week", call next week to be sure, don't assume it's there! Communication via phone is the key to keeping track of backorders...
