In an earlier post, I had said that the project was postponed until I could get a job. Well thankfully, yesterday I got a job coaching soccer and am very thankful for that. But now I have a job and can now start getting to work on the 1966 Ford Mustang Coupe. In the cars current state, it is a 1966 Mustang Coupe painted red with many missing part which I have stacked in a corner of my garage that I picked up today.

There are many directions I can take this project. And with all these direction I have 3 main ideas I am going towards.

Classic:
This refers to keeping it as original as I can possibly make it including the original Gold color. The problem with this is that it has a massive engine in it already (not original) but besides that I would be keeping the whole interior original.

Restomod: (My favorite)
This means keeping it looking original on the outside but with minor mods on the inside such as modern gauges, radio, etc. And... converting it into a fastback. Paint would be white with red stripes.

Completely Modern:
This is an option to make it look like a bode 302 as if it was done back in 1966. Orange with black stripes, coupe or fastback, black rims, completely new radio, new seats, and a roll cage.

Those are only some of the options. But if you have any other ideas, please feel free to comment your thoughts!!!!

Here is a basic list of items I got into the garage today

muffler (1)
aluminum battery box (1)
drive shaft (1)
fram stiffener (1)
puller set (1)
head liner (1)
rear window weather strip (1)
stereo system (1)
gauge insert (1)
heater plenum (1)
six gauge set (1)
three way seat belt set
black ponydora set
various emblems (4)
carbon fiber gear shifter
rocker arms
pedal covers
gearbox cover
various trim pieces
exaust system
sport foam seats
black pony upholstery
various electrical part
orginal gauge cluster
red door trim
bullit mirrors
headlight
gt fog llighhts
more electrical
a sick *** band saw!
two sets of jackstands

Can't wait to get this going. Building should start happening within a couple of weeks
