I took one of my favorite photos..

and did some alterations..

I then used Pencil Camera and ran some of the effects. The two I like the best are "brushed"

and "charcoal".

I haven't done much on the car in a while. I was on vacation and actual work took a lot of my time. Then when I got back from vacation, I had a skiing accident and dislocated my right shoulder and I am right handed. It's been a month and I am getting back some normalcy in my arm. Physio is hell.

So I haven't been able to work on my coupe for sometime now. I have some things that I can do like map out the process that I need to do and some CAD/computer work.

I also took the time to update the F5Registry website. I wrote some code to help me eliminate the spammers who try and join up. I finished that this morning and everything should be working so people who should and want to join can, but those spammer bots won't be able to successfully register. If you haven't seen the site, take a look.

I did this because of the demand for the hood lock brackets that I designed for the coupe. Since I am a vendor, I might as well offer for sale some of my other services.

Coupe Hood Lock Brackets ($40 plus shipping)

VIN Plates (single : $35.00 + shipping / double : $45.00 + shipping)

Customized to your name and location so your name will be forever with the car.

[Custom Gauge Artwork] (email for pricing)

Only at the 1965 12 Hours of Sebring race, the Daytona Coupes had a stylized “Daytona” script near the side openings in the hood. Since then, this has been associated with the coupes. I wanted something more factory looking so I created a two piece emblem. The top is stainless steel which is polished and the bottom is an aluminum piece that is anodized black. The aluminum has holes for mounting pins.

The ideal situation would have a one made up by a company that does them for dealerships. This would have to be a large run as most I have seen need a minimum of 200.

Since my dash will be modeled off the Ford GT and I wanted the car to look like a factory car, I had some custom gauges made by Speedhut. I used Adobe Illustrator to make the custom artwork. I then sent the artwork to Speedhut. The result were gauges that use ISO logos instead of works to identify the gauge. Since I am located in Canada, I also wanted the speedometer to have km/h and mph. I also added out of range "red" areas.

The last touch was to add the 'Daytona' script to the tachometer.
