2/14/2025 - Passed NJ Inspection In NJ there you need to complete a build log detailing how the build took place, show all receipts, pictures, show engine serial numbers, FFR frame numbers, etc. You then need to take the vehcile to a special inspection station where they review Reconstruction/Specialty Constructed Vehicles including Salvage vehicles. Gentlemen, I thought I read somewhere that you cannot cut the power off completely using a cut off switch if you have a coyote motor. This is because the computer collects information while running and may be wiped out if you cut off power completely. If this is accurate, does it mean I can’t use a cut off switch? BTW, I appreciated all the responses on my heater hose question.
I've purchased the FFMetals Extended firewall for my MkIV roadster. Before I start cutting holes in this lovely piece of aluminum. I'd like to know if the stock locations for items like the heater core are ok or if I need to modify the locations of such things to make other pieces fit properly. And do any of the heater core pieces conflict with the back of the engine. I'd like to have a functional glovebox, though I understand I might need to heat up the plastic of the glove box ...
