With the body buck complete, it was time to move the body off of the chassis this weekend. I kept an eye on the weather, because a tropical storm in Mexico had been causing high winds. Finally managed to get around to ordering the kit. After attending the open house this year and drinking some FFR Kool Aid I can finally say we've ordered the kit. With everything else going on in life, the order process was over in about 2 minutes and the trumpets and fanfare that I could hear in my end while I was talking to Jason kind of fizzled out. I have finally worked my way through all of my FFR boxes and taken inventory on all parts. I unpacked each box one at a time, checked off the items on the packing list, taped the boxes back up, and labeled the outside of each of what is inside so that it is easier to identify each box. I also removed the hood, doors, and trunk, and unpacked the hood scoop. I got a 90gt as a donor and I assumed it was a World Class T5 (because of the year). Well, today we got to tearing it down and it is some sort of frankenstein t5...some parts look like world class while others appear non-world class...definitely not the stock tranny.
