11-8-11 This is my first blog post and I'm not sure what I'm supposed to do here but I thought I would recap who I am and how I got into building a 33HR. As my profile says; I'm a lifelong motorhead. Pro's and Con's of IRS better than three link has any one have experance with the two rear ends it would be intersting to find out. Durability can one handle the torque better the other I'm using 5.0 HO ported stock heads upgrade cam & valvesprings balanced Plus .030 Keith Black pistons last upgrade Cobra intake or Explorer intake? On Monday, October 31st, I lost my dad. That day also happened to be my birthday. I am grateful he did not suffer, in fact, he died instantly from a ruptured brain aneurysm. Received powder coated front lower control arms from my buddy and had to modify it to fit Koni coil-overs. After some drilling and cutting I was able to accomplish that. At the same time I installed new control arm bushings and ball joint. Just realized I have been putting off updating my blog for a while! My father and I have come a long ways on the build at least I think we have! The rear end is installed. A good friend was super awesome enough to paint it in his paint booth for me.
