1. Engine arrived and fuel tank installed

  3. Engine build started and steering wheel pictures

Since my last post I finished the horn on my steering wheel, so now I can say that my dash is complete done and I'm happy that I will have the horn on the steering wheel, not on the dash. To do that I had to buy NRG spacer, to have more room for the horn wires.

  4. Chassis Prep Complete: The "Build" Begins

With a solid Por-15 base coat, we followed up with two layers of Wimbledon White top coat, and finished with a coat of clear finish. We allowed the chassis to cure for two days in the beautiful California sun, and began parts installation on April 1, 2012.

  5. Engine Blog: First 302 experience - To Tune or Not To Tune That is the Question.

I've put about 5 minutes of run time on the engine now. It was cut short due to a minor coolant leak in the rear of the intake and for some reason the rad fans didn't activate at temp. Well, you have to install the relays but in my defense the relay housing look very much like the relays so I thought they were there (wired some time ago). Didn't work after adding relays. I had other wiring issues but straightened it all out. So I finally got to do a sustained run. Have a look: http://youtu.be/tY8BKe7ko1Y ...
