Every so often I take a break from my work and studies to get my hands dirty working on some part of the ol’Mark I. It gives my brain a change of pace.

Been in the shop this past weekend working on the ol’Mark I. I ordered more tires for the rear – they do seem to wear a lot faster than the front! But more of the issue was I finally had to replace my stock oil pan with a pan that was above the frame tubes. My original stock 5.0l oil pan rear drain bolt had been bent back so ...

National Street Rod Association Nationals in Essex Vt. Where were you Factory Five? Very disapointed. No show.

Three members of the recently formed Ocean State Cobras recently met for breakfast and the Tasca Show in Cranston, RI. The weather was beautiful and so was the cars. The pictures shows an MKI (blue-Dave), MKII (silver-Chris) and an MKII (Phil-Black).

The steering wheel is sharp. does it come with the required hub for the 818? are you still planning on using the subaru steering column?

Well it took about 2 months but my Turbo finally came back from Six Star Speed, and it was 100% worth the wait.
This thing is spotless and looks so much better than a brand new unit.
The turnaround was of no fault of their own as I had requested upgraded bearings which took a while to get.

The unit started out as a stock VF48 from the new style STi with about 50k miles on it. ...
